Project Lead

The Project Lead is a critical member of the agency as they lead both the client’s business and the internal process from conception to completion. This person is energetic, passionate, curious and ambitious, managing the creation of high-quality deliverables, especially digital in nature, in a fast-paced environment. The Project Lead proactively leads projects with impeccable organization and promptness on all project-related tasks, strengthening the effectiveness of our work overall. They understand and lead technical conversations with both the internal team and our clients, demonstrating the ability to distill complex discussions into actionable next steps.

About the role:

  • Create positive, collaborative, trusting environments, building and strengthening relationships with clients and agency as well as between clients and agency
  • Elicit great, results-driven work, leading teams to achieve client objectives and strengthening Mode’s approach
  • Understand each client’s business and industry well enough to not only meet and exceed their expectations but anticipate their needs
  • Partner closely with our Director of Production, agency Partners and fellow Producers to understand, manage, and integrate your projects into the overall agency workflow by communicating needs proactively and effectively
  • Ensure projects are launched, executed, and completed on budget, strategy and schedule; developing SOWs, managing billing, leading client relationship and internal process
  • Manage, forecast, and track project schedules through their life cycles while keeping full studio resources and deadlines in mind
  • Communicate client feedback and assign actionable items to the internal team while anticipating challenges, identifying solutions, and communicating deadlines to keep projects moving forward
  • Manage vendor resources through research, initiation, execution, and building & maintaining relationships
  • Develop strong project briefs and brief strongly, inspiring and empowering teams to seize challenges and solve problems
  • Champion agency process and work closely with the Production team to identify areas of improvement in process and function
  • Champion client business and work closely with the Account Leadership team (and across teams) to identify opportunities for account growth

About you:

  • 3-4 years direct agency-level experience managing large scale, complex digital and traditional projects
  • Knowledgeable and well-versed in the digital landscape (websites, digital media, etc.)
  • Outstanding communicator and connector
  • Proactive and enthusiastic, empathetic team player
  • Strong, solutions-oriented leader
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects and timelines
  • Exemplary in professionalism and poise
