Account Coordinator


Mode is seeking an entry level Account Coordinator to be a critical member of the Account Leadership team. The ideal candidate will be passionate, curious, and ambitious, demonstrating impeccable organization, proactivity and promptness on all project-related tasks, to enhance the effectiveness of our work.

We’ll look to this person to assist the Account Leadership team with day-to-day tasks, content and asset management, research and documentation, etc.; anything and everything that the team may require to be more successful in their leadership of clients.


The role may include but is not limited to: 

Team & Project Support

  • Helping review and prepare client deliverables (e.g. proofreading for grammar, assisting with presentation copy)

  • Taking excellent notes in any meeting, outlining action items to help team stay on track and accountable with next steps

  • Communicating directly with clients as needed

  • Preparing in advance with meeting agendas as applicable and closing the loop with reports of decisions and next steps 

  • Addressing routine or minor one-off project/retainer updates (web maintenance, asset locating, etc.)

Research & Strategy Support

  • Conducting research across agency verticals and client industries, equipping team with necessary trends and insights that will strengthen strategies and improve quality of work

  • Delivering weekly insights to our team on social, economic and industry trends

  • Reviewing competitors of clients’ brands and updating Account Leads of pertinent, timely news, with client-facing documentation as needed

  • Exposure to the creation of project briefs

Mode is a fully hybrid workplace, although preferably, candidates are located in the Charlotte area and willing to work in the office 1-2 days per week.
