There’s a joy to cooking. It’s a flowing, magical dance between the chef, cookware, and ingredients. In these images, we set out to capture this magic by examining the relationships of the products and their environment as they are suspended in space, creating an infinite state of wonder in the kitchen. To capture the authentic relationships between objects, we suspended cookware on set, rather than in post-production, letting the forms of the products inform the gestures and movements within each image.

Iconic Inspirations

The artful forms and rich iconic colors of the Le Creuset collection were the inspiration behind our visual approach. We aimed to tell an uncomplicated story highlighting the form and function of each piece, setting them against a crisp, cool grey backdrop accompanied by simple, restrained propping.
